Ahhhh the weekend. A time for running errands, catching up with friends, and relaxation. I also take advantage of weekends to give my skin a little extra TLC. If you are anything like me, your weekend skin routine is nothing like what you do during the week. It’s simplified and more about giving your skin time to recharge (hello, Sunday Spa Night!)…
Chanel came out with a set of three products aimed to sync up with your week– day, night and the weekend. We think the idea is super charming, and we are testing them out to see if our skin agrees. The best part may be focusing on one product for the weekend and putting the rest of our energy towards drunk brunch.

Generally, I follow the same skin regiment during the weekend as I do the during the week. I never considered the benefits to switching it up to give your skin a chance to revitalize. I’ve never been let down by Chanel product–might have to give it a try!

Je passe souvent par ici sans jamais écrire mais là, une chose m’intrigue. J’ai eu des échantillons de ces produits (pas encore testés) mais la notice précise que c’est à appliquer sous le soin habituel… Du coup, pour la simplification des procédures du week-end (ou du jour, ou du soir), bof ! Mais je suis curieuse de lire les résultats du test (et de savoir s’il a fallu appliquer le soin en plus ou non).

Ces produits font envie mais après vérification ils n’ont rien d’exceptionnel hormis le fait d’être jolis. On trouve en tête d’ingrédients de l’eau, de l’alcool, de la glycérine et de des silicones.

En ce qui me concerne, je trouve “le jour” super, crème très légère tant pour sa texture que pour son odeur, parfaite avant le maquillage, mais “la nuit” me va beaucoup moins, vraiment trop grasse à mon goût! Je n’ai pas encore investi dans le “weekend” car, sans vouloir être rabat-joie, ces crèmes Chanel ne sont vraiment pas données… Ma conclusion, vu les commentaires sur la présence de Silicone et autres substances plutot nocives aue j’ignorai, j’ai été un peu déçue par les produits et déçue de m’être laissée amadouer par le magnifique packaging et la simplicité de la gamme!
