We can’t not revisit all things Doré without taking a day to revisit all things Garance, the heart, soul and reason why we all came back, day in and day out to form this little community we began to call home.
Of course we all followed along (and laughed and cried) with her through her diary entries, which were always and forever the most popular posts on Doré.
We also followed her from Paris to New York to Los Angeles, to London. Loving her thoughts and observations about all the various cities that she called home around the world.
We never got sick of Lulu content, or G debating on what to do with hair. We could all relate to the need to chop one’s hair as soon as it is juuuuust long enough to put in a ponytail.
We asked her for advice and showed up on various continents for her retreats where the definition of community strengthened to a level we didn’t know was possible.
But most of all – while G might have been our common bond – you were the heart that kept the site beating, and for that we will always be grateful.
