Breast Cancer Awareness
7 years ago by
It’s almost the end of October, which means National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is nearing its end as well. While it’s always a good time to kick cancer’s ass, it is now especially relevant. The campaign aims to increase awareness of the disease and raise funds for research, treatment, and prevention in the hopes of finding a cure. If you love boobs—and frankly who doesn’t—seriously consider donating to a great cause. Here are a few links to help you get involved!

Thank you. So many people will be impacted by breast cancer during their lives, including experiencing it. Don’t forget your monthly self exam!
I love the sentiment, but I would highly recommend listening to the linked podcast – Crooked Conversations: When did breast cancer become a business? – before donating to Komen or NBCF. It is a fantastic conversation re breast health awareness, and there are good some suggestions at the end of the podcast for what help we can provide to who for the most impact.
