Camel coats are MAYBE the most sought after coat for Fall.
The rich texture and cozy color are a sophisticated classic. Plus they go hand in hand with ALL the chunky knits!
What makes most camel cashmere coats so special though, is that they’re actually really light weight. So you can wear them from that in between season with loafers and an exposed ankle … because no one is ready to cover up completely yet right?

always a classic in my book. the camel color just goes well with everything! the vintage ones are almost always made of “camel hair” not cashmere. a camel colored cashmere would be fantastic.. i think warmer and more light weight…?

I love a good camel coat. It is timeless without being old-fashioned, unlike a lot of other classics.
Je bavais sur les manteaux camel, jusqu’à ce que je réalise que je commence un peu à me lasser de les voir partout, et que du coup ça ôte au manteau camel son élégance intemporelle de vraie femme, intimement fatale. C’est un peu pour moi le summum de la pièce achetée en confiance, minimaliste mais pas trop. Je trouve ça toujours aussi beau, mais j’attend l’année prochaine pour voir si j’en ai encore envie ou pas!
