The Black Leather Jacket

The leather jacket may be more synonymous than the apple to New York City at this point.
Cool kid downtown? Yeah, they definitely own at least one. Chic lady who lives on the park? Yup, her version might be Balmain, but its DNA is all the same. Its a garment that brings together the whole city when you think about it! And thats why I really love that Barneys has collaborated to create 23 one-of-a-kind leather jackets with artists and designers to auction off. Proceeds will benefit two iconic New York nonprofit institutions : The LGBT Community Center and art-space White Columns.
Could you think of a better way to support the city we spend so much time in (both visitors and residents) while also going home with an epic piece of wearable art?
All 23 jackets are currently on display at the new Barneys downtown until March 22nd!

I’ve been obsessing over the Coach F/W 16 leather jacket with the patches. I put my email down at the store and the lady said she’d email me when they arrive!
