With Jack Frost nipping at our heels and the Winter Shop just launching on Net-a-Porter, we thought it was the perfect moment to show you our winter essential picks for our Edit No. 3, Part 3 on the always impeccably dressed and natural stunner Aziza!
The possibilities appear to be limitless, but we found three key pieces to stay warm and look cool in the coming months.
The Skirt
Yep, THAT Miu Miu skirt. It’s kind of the skirt of the season. An exaggerated plaid number whose cotton and wool content was made for cold season wear. Especially with a chunky knit sweater and collegiate-appropriate tweed coat. And mini skirts are so versatile – you can wear tights come December and transition back into Spring when worn with a t-shirt!
The Sweater
The thing about winter is we often find ourselves with these massive (beautiful!!!) hand-knit sweaters that are too big to actually fit inside your overcoat without appearing to look like you have sausage arms. So, while warm, definitely uncomfortable. What makes this Maison Margiela sweater great is that its Alpaca-blend will actually keep you toasty but, since the weave is loose, it’s great for layering under a leather jacket! Ok, and so special with those glitter pants…
The Coat
If there could be a dreamier coat for winter, I’d like to see it. This one by Golden Goose is verrrrry Garance, so it’s obviously cool – but even cooler is that it’s faux fur and feels unreal. As in so soft you will be the most popular person at the party because everyone will be hugging you, thinking you are a teddy bear and won’t even care that you are wearing a coat inside… at the party. I also love the idea of bringing back corduroys, too! A play on textures and patterns doesn’t get much better than this combo!
So! Who’s ready for winter? I might try discreetly carrying my dog in my coat this season to stay warm, he’s like a small heater… it’s just an idea – but likely better suited to find my own essentials! What are yours?!

Les gros pulls, le big problème. on a trop chaud quand on mets son manteau d’hiver ou , ça ne rentre simplement pas sous la veste…Du coup, j’ai mes pardessus spécial gros pull…
Un perfecto léger , un peu large dans un cuir super souple donc parfait pour les superpositions et un manteau ovoïde chiné dans les tons noirs et blanc à manches 3/4( je ne le porte aussi qu’avec de gros pulls. les manches dépassent , quand c’est un pull coloré, ça apporte une touche de gaieté. )
Ces deux articles échappent à tous mes vide dressing, même si je ne les porte que deux mois dans l’année car ils couvrent sans trop tenir chaud (ce que fait déjà le pull) Ainsi, je ne me liquéfie pas de chaleur quand je rentre dans le métro , un café, ou autre endroit surchauffé.
@MAREME tu décris un look qui a vraiment l’air beau, dommage qu’il n’y a pas de photos! J’ai des gros pulls et tes idées sont super intéressantes!
