I love when visiting a hotel means a complete escape, taking you somewhere that’s a little too decadent for reality home.
That’s really what it feels like when you step into the Hotel Providence in Paris, which is so obviously a labor of love – and with the most unique approach to interiors.
Owners Pierre and Elodie are so warm and welcoming, and each room was decorated by Elodie and her best friend, Sophie. So maybe it feels a little like home… Or at least the home of your Wes Anderson-inspired dreams…
The walls of each room are carpeted with special velvet prints, with vintage art collected from flea markets in the French countryside, and all rooms have their own bar (which you can order cocktail supplies for!). The bathrooms, too, are all beautiful and distinct in their own way.
Ok, so I could go on about this surprising, beautiful hotel forever!! But it’s the photos that really tell the story…

Thank you Yael!! … and I personally think your suggestion is PERFECT ;)
These pictures are amazing!!!
Love that kind of place too!

Petite and So What
One of the greatest design spreads I’ve seen in ages – adore!!
Great place! I love how the wallpaper becomes 3D by moving to the lampshades and the dresser divider (I’m blanking on the actual name of the item:) it’s a great mixture of a modern sensibility (bold graphical and streamlined elements) with classic traditional pieces. I also second that the pictures are amazing, they give a great mood/vibe. I felt like I was there while viewing them!!
canon! Quelle chance

Beautiful! I’ve always dreamed of having a claw foot tub. The next best thing would be to visit a hotel with one. One more thing to do on my list of things-to-do in Paris.

Thank you for the article (and pictures). The place is so beautiful!!! Following your suggestion I just booked my stay there for 2 weeks in November.
Okay, it seems amazing! But Erik Melvin… I’ve paused a Clive Owen film for the last 30 minutes just to admire…no…just to contemplate (in Brazil it means like the highest level of admiring) your photos! You, my friend, is great!
Ok…got to go back to Clive, now! Well…not like now now, maybe!
Carla!! You paused CLIVE for ME?! You are my new favorite person ever :)
Thank you so much for your kind words!
It looks amazing! But Erik Melvin…let me just say that I’ve paused Clive Owen on my tv screen for about the last 30 minutes just to admire…no, just to contemplate (here in Brazil, contemplate is like the highest level of admiring) your photos! Boy, you are awesome! Thank you!
Now…back to Clive. Or…maybe not now now :) XoXo!
Stunning. Thank you for this story, the images are so inspiring I cannot get enough. Thanks!
So in love with this post, I don’t know where to begin!
Wow amazing interior decor!
