Bronzed!
9 years ago by
Summer is all about the bronzer…
Such a nice way to add a gentle touch of contour and glow, that also happens to make your tan go the extra mile as well. This one from Chanel is a total classic and you can tell — it’s the perfect amount of oomph and subtlety.
It blends in seamlessly and this brush is actually the perfect applicator, as you can get added width on one angle and a straighter, better contouring angle if you tilt the other way.
I tend to just use over a tinted SPF moisturizer before curling my eyelashes and heading out the door! Have you added bronzer to your makeup bag of late? What’s your summer beauty routine?
Les Beiges, Chanel.
I am loyal to a very old favorite, Guerlain bronzer. Have used it for years. A tinted moisturizer (I have been using a fabulous one from Bare Essentials), bronzer, mascara and lipstick is my summer go to.

Hi. I’ve been using Guerlain Terracotta bronzer for a while now but since you posted this, I’m going to switch next time to Chanel just for a change. Do you think it’s better?

I sit out in the sun a bit so I get my freckles back, and then I use some Pot Rouge from BB for my cheeks, and some old good Vaseline to define my brows, to use instead of mascara (it defines them but you never have to worry about smudge) and on my lips. That’s it!
Have been a huge fan of Terracota by Guerlain but moved to Chanel les Beiges normal powder and Bobbi Brown shimmer brick on top…heaven!
I’ve tryed a lot of bronzers and I can highly recommend Too faced the poreless bronzer! Perfect color for Caucasians! Hello from Germany
I have olive skin and I tend to use the bronzer during winter. It usually adds good depth.

I’m a daily bronzer- my pale skin appreciates not being put into the sun and having a little glow always perks me up! My favorite is Nars Laguna- but as I just moved to a country that doesn’t sell Nars- I bought a Chanel Les Beiges option that was the closest in tone to my dear Laguna.
Would be helpful if you listed the number as there are (I think) 4-6 tones in the Les Beiges collection- and there are limited editions!
