We live for summer in New York. Once the sun is out, we all escape from our tiny cozy apartments and spend every spare hour outside – dining on sidewalks, picnicking in the park, or even grabbing coffee with a friend on a street corner…
We went with our friends Miranda and Julie to get a coffee at this really cute street cart called Peddler, on the corner of Lafayette and Houston in Soho. It’s a busy area, but stopping there on a hot day for an iced coffee is something special… It sort of transports you away from the busy streets for five minutes – the perfect mini mini city break!
Peddler is all in the small details (the cute cups?!), just like Miranda and Julie’s approach to summer dressing. What better way to make a white top breathable than by adding eyelets (and maybe some fringe to your pants for good measure!)? Or choosing a halter version of a denim dress for extra air? Paired with the perfect slide or ladylike sandals, of course…
