Remember my friend Lara, who I visit every time I go to Paris? The super talented jewelry designer with the dog and the parrot? Yeah, that’s the one :)
Well, last week she was the one visiting New York to show her new collection. She had set everything up at Melet Mercantile, a vintage showroom close to the Studio – so, of course I had to stop by and say hello!!! All of her pieces are still made by hand, which is such a rare and beautiful thing these days.

Can you please do a story about spring coats? I’ve always had a problem with the transitional wardrobe ESPECIALLY coats – for years I’ve been wearing a trench coat but now I feel that another year with trench coat would be so boring…

She’s pretty, but I too dislike summer pants in winter. What happened to beautiful woolen trousers? That’s the thing I look forward to wearing when outside it’s freezing…and it’s below zero in NYC! I can never understand how these girls keep warm in such outfits…

“Hyper rare” le totalement réalisé main ? Waou ! Faut sortir un peu de votre petit microcosme new-yorkais les filles. Y’a urgence la. Des tas de créatrices bossent leurs pièces entièrement à la main. Allez dans les townships et les favélas favélas. J’y ai vu des artistes extraordinaires et qui produisent des merveilles.
