Almost too pretty to use…
When this compact arrived at the office last week, I spent a solid 10 minutes just staring at it. Then I spent another 10 mintues trying to decide if I would be ableto bring myself to swipe my brush over that beautiful lace detail on the powder.
The color is that mix of bronze and pink that results in a just right glow on your cheeks, the kind that makes you look like you had the best summer of your life.
Now I’ve just gotta decide: pretty compact to show off or best summer of my life glow?

Beautiful. This reminds me of the Dolce & Gabbana Leopard Bronzer compact I almost bought….until I found out that the print disappears when you swipe the brush over it. I went with Guerlain instead but lusted after the leopard. I like that the Guerlain Meteorites travel compact doesn’t run with all the different colors – so pretty.

Chanel can make the most beautiful beauty products, I remember that years ago I bought a blush with the same texture of tweed, it was so beautiful that I feel sorry to use it and ruin the texture.
Last year Chanel made an equally beautiful compact and I couldn’t make my mind either. Finally I decided to draw a thin vertical line and use only the left part, preserving at least a bit of the original pattern on the right. In the end it all disappeared, but I could enjoy it for a few days more.

Même s’il s’agit d’un très bel objet, il s’agit d’un produit de maquillage (donc pas éternel et bel et bien périssable !)
