The Suspenders

Suspenders probably don’t pop into your head first when you think of things that are easy to pull off, right?
Yet somehow, Ji Hye Park has made them look like the easiest, coolest, most essential thing ever. When I get a pair (because now, I really feel like I have to) I’m styling them exactly like this: slouchy sweater, tailored pants and an easy pair of flats.

Allez dire ça à une femme enceinte, elle vous répondra (je vous répondrez) que les bretelles peuvent vous sauver une garde robe… Et deviennent alors une évidence de facilité vestimentaire.
Enfin, je parle pour moi qui ne suis pas une fan des vêtements de grossesse, parce qu’on peut-être enceinte et stylistiquement lucide non ?

Des bretelles c’est jolies sur un mannequin mais sur n’importe qui possédant de la poitrine, (le reste de la population féminine), c’est pas portable. Le port des bretelles peut il se faire: entre les seins, sur les seins, encadrant les seins? C’est encore un truc que seul le milieu fashion sans courbes peut se permettre et la photo du haut le démontre assez bien, rien contre la “model” mais elle représente pas vraiment un gros échantillon de la population. Une mode pour d’autres types de femme la prochaine fois s’il vous plait.

C’est plutôt très cool à porter…enfin, il y a des tas de “mais”, de “si” et de “avec” qui doivent être validés avant d’obtenir ce look. Au pire, on peut faire “vieille petite fille”, au mieux donner l’image d’une héroïne de Wenders, ou de “Jules et Jim”…sur moi, c’est old, vraiment daté, même si j’ai adoré en porter ! Il faudra nous montrer le look quand tu les auras achetées !

It looks really cute but I think suspenders are difficult to wear when you have boobs. You can end up looking… not so good, let’s say. I wanted to say cheap, but I wont.
