Kate Moss Joins British Vogue

When we said Kate Moss was back, we weren’t kidding.
Today it was announced that she’ll be joining British Vogue as a contributing fashion editor.
As if 33 covers on the title wasn’t enough, Moss’ first story will be in the upcoming Spring issue. While surprising, it’s really not that far off considering some of our favorite editors (Carine, Grace) modeled before continuing on to the biggest fashion magazines in the business.
Between this and her Topshop collection, we’re excited to see what Kate the Great has in store for us, aren’t you?

“Après 33 couvertures, c’est presque un juste retour !” …Pas tout à fait d’accord, ok cette fille est canon, ok c’est la top des tops (en tout cas pour beaucoup) mais franchement, est-ce cela fait d’elle une fashion editor? Pas sûr.

I have to agree with Gigi, being a great model doesn’t make you a great editor but, let’s give her a chance, she might surprise us the same way Carine and Grace did. I’m curious to see what she will come up with!

Pas tout à fait d’accord avec Gigi. Si il y a bien quelqu’un qui a fait le tour du business de la mode, en tant que mannequin depuis plus de 20 ans, puis designer pour plusieurs marques, c’est elle! Sans oublier qu’elle reste une référence INCONTESTABLE en terme de street style… Je pense que c’est un bon début pour être fashion editor, non?

Pourquoi, limiter les gens éternellement à leur premier job, ne pas penser qu’ils puissent évoluer? En menant une telle carrière, Kate Moss a certainement déjà démontré une personnalité forte et une intelligence rare!

Mais en même tps Kate Moss, je l’aime trop ds son rôle Rock’n’roll, qui s’affranchit des règles… J’ai du mal à l’imaginer dans un structure comme Vogue, mais en même tps, je pense qu’elle peut apporter sa patte!
A la fois, j’ai hâte de découvrir le résultat et à la fois, je reste perplexe! (Moi aussi j’ai des conflits internes, surtout lorsque je parle de mon IDOLE!!)

Kate is so much more than just a model. She has impeccable personal style and I’m sure that with her eye she’ll come up with a very interesting point of view. I can’t wait!!
franchement, c’est plutôt normal, les fringues c’est ce qu’elle connait le mieux.
