Sunglasses Miracle

Illesteva made me some sunglasses!
Okay, they didn’t make them for me, but for girls like me. I am the girl who every time I bend over to look at my phone, pick up my handbag, tie my shoes (when was the last time you had to tie your shoes?!) my sunglasses fall off my face. Maybe there is something wrong with my ears ability to balance glasses? And since no one has been able to totally chicify those sunglasses straps, I keep living life with my glasses slipping off my ears and onto the floor of the subway/the sidewalk/my soup.
UNTIL NOW.
I stopped by to see the guys at Illesteva in Paris and they showed me these. The ultimate no slip from your ears sunglasses. The perfectly round “temple tips” (I Googled that!) keep them on your ears at all times. No more shades in my gazpacho!
That is so cool! Mine always fall off when I bend over to tie my shoes or whatever ( also, why ARE we always bending over? Do we really need to tie our shoes that often?!). My only concern would be that they would press on you and give you a headache… Have you given them a trial run yet? Comfy as well as practical?

Also don’t forget that these temple tips, or mouse tips (the specific name ;-) are better if you have short hair as they get tangled easily if you have a long main…
Oui, mais impossible de les mettre dans les cheveux… Dilemme !
Amazing! Are these available for purchase online?
Those are awesome!! I love them. very functional!

My father have old Ray-ban and the arms are exactly like these, funny :) ! But I remember these glasses used to hurt me behind the ears (or was it because I wore men glasses as I was 7 ? ^^).
Moi c’est mon (petit?) nez qui empêche mes lunettes de soleil de tenir. Heureusement que je ne porte pas de lunette de vue!
Gènial! Je les veux moi meme!
These are how temples looked in the old days of spectacles from the 1800s. I work in eyewear, and I used to think my face was wonky (or maybe my skin greasy! ew) because sunglasses would slip but now I know that it is actually the glasses themselves. Everyone’s faces are uneven, and glasses should be moulded to fit. Plastic eyewear (yes, even designer brands) that are made of 100% polymers and machine-made cannot be moulded to fit, but handmade acetate (that’s 80% cotton) glasses can be heated and made to fit your face! No more slippage. Got a bit technical there but it’s so basic and not many people know about it unfortunately, I wish it was common knowledge!
These. Are. Awesome. !!
Hi Alex,
I had my opitician bend the “temple tips” of my Ray-Bans, so I can now lock my bike without my sunglasses falling of!
These sunglasses are so stylish and unusual, would love a pair of these!

Elles sont splendides, elles ressemblent plus à un bijou qu’à un accessoire !
oooh this looks so futuristic and retro at the same time. also practical! A triple threat. x
Very handsome sunglasses. And they’ll stay put except you need both hands free to remove them. And how often are your hands free?
This is cool. But what if you just want to wear them on your head?
Hmm…I think I need these too!! Sure there will be minor problems, like, trying to take them off but the tips are caught in your hair. But who cares, when FINALLY your glasses stay on your face!!! Right!?!…Exciting stuff.
