“This is the finest talc I know. Its pressed rose scent is to die for. You put it on your body with this big puff that’s very rare nowadays.
It used to be done like that in the thirties… It’s made with baby swan feathers, but only the ones that come from the underside swan, that are all soft and fall on the ground when the swan grows.

I imagine the song “La Vie En Rose” playing in the background while prepping oneself with this vanity, and with that perfumed talc. It’s perfectly romantic, whether you’re meeting your love or just want to impress yourself, nonetheless.

I’ve bought the same one for my mother. It smells incrediblel this looks fab’ and on top of that Santa Maria Novella are only to be found in very posh shops, so you have the pleasure to visit a beautiful shop!!

Très belle idée, c’est en plus très très féminin. L’objet est très beau. Non seulement le talc rend la peau douce mais il absorbe aussi l’humidité.

The baby swan feathers falling on the ground the the powder itself sound and look romantic. It seems like a nice powder to sleep with! Will definitely try someday.

Don’t use powder made from talc. It can cause ovarian cancer! If the product is derived from other ingredients, it certainly looks like a dream!

I love this talc, but have you ever tried the Acqua di Gigli? It’s so fresh after the shower, perfect for the warm season.. Does Laetitia know? :)
@Despina, it doesn’t seem like the talc comes with the puff, but after a little Googling (I want one too – how Josephine lux!) you can find them online at BeautyHabit dot com and Floris London for starters.
