Dolce & Gabbana Mascara

Here’s my favorite! I like it thick!

That is to say, a thicker lash, yet still defined and decently long. I reaally like that Dolce mascara. To be honest, I never really think to look for their make up and I’m not big on checking out all the new stuff at Sephora, but I got a little goodie bag before their show in Milan and ever since it’s been my favorite mascara. ANNNND, it smells amazing. Remind me to let you smell my eyelashes next time I see you ;-)

On 9 to 5

Thank you for your comments on yesterday’s post !!! It was so interesting reading them all, you guys rock !!! I loved how you shared your experience about your workplaces. Here are a few that made me laugh or rang a bell to me…

From Ella:

“I am a journalist and I’ve always loved clothes, even if I didn’t always have the budget to afford them. But I understood very fast that it was important for a career. So I carefully invested in my wardrobe: ‘Dress for the job you want.’…

The Gentlewoman

What’s with The Gentlewoman and super cool covers? I liked this one so much that I had to take a picture of it… looking totally blogger (But nowadays, who isn’t a blogger? Or a tweeterer? Or an Instagrammer? Mmmmm? Maybe the President of the United States? No, not even him.) as I was finishing my coffee at my new hangout, The Happy Bones café at Selima, on Bond Street.

On Luxury

I was reading your responses to Costanza’s quote on luxury, and I found this quote from Silvia very interesting:

“Fashion looks more and more like soccer each day. They maintain the brands but designers sign up with a different corporation in the blink of an eye. Couture is now a show for the masses. It is entertaining, but not even close as glamorous as in the 1950s.”

What do you think? Do you consider fashion as entertainement?

Dallas!

Next week I’m going to TEXAS for the first time ever, yeeeeeeeehaa! (Sorry, I had to…)

I’ll be there for a talk I’m doing at Neiman Marcus NorthPark. It’s going to be really sweet.
I’ll have a little time to explore the city so I was wondering, where should I go? Who should I meet? What do I have to do while I’m there? Do I go riding? How? What about cowboy boots?

On Perfect Friends

I was reading your comments about “Perfect Friends” yesterday (all very engaging!), and I found that one really interesting…

It’s a com from Pixelite:

I have just read this 5 min ago, seems to be relevant to your topic,

“Cosmetic surgery fundamentally is about businesses trying to convince people to get unnecessary, invasive, very risky surgery. They know as well as everyone else does that women hate their bodies on a massive scale, and the solution they offer is the knife;…

Here It Is !

I found the miracle product !!!

It’s Deborah Lippmann’s Ridge Filler. I didn’t know that brand at all (total beauty ignorant) but apparently it’s very good! I mean, at least I know I am a fan of it. Had you heard about it before?
