Le parfum, c’est toujours très personnel.
Un parfum peut faire ressurgir des souvenirs (bons ou mauvais, haha) et vraiment avoir un impact sur la façon dont on communique avec les autres. Un parfum signature, ça peut-être très classe, comme le sillage qu’on laisse sur son passage et qui nous identifie… Un peu comme Marilyn Monroe et son Chanel N°5…
Du coup, on est un peu partagés sur le fait de coordonner son parfum avec celui de son amoureux/se. En ce moment, les parfums pour couples sont très à la mode, et au cas où vous ne le sauriez pas, c’est lorsque deux parfums (un féminin, un masculin) sont vendus ensemble. Et lorsque vous êtes avec un couple (pour tous ceux qui tiennent la chandelle !), ils fonctionnent en tandem pour créer une fragrance commune. Un peu comme les tatouages pour couples, mais en moins permanent ;)

Scents are somewhat different, depending on the individual’s chemistry, so I’m not sure how well this concept would work. Someone was bound to come up with the idea though!

I’m not sure matching scent with your partner works (personally also not so into the idea of matching tattoos). The idea sounds interesting though and sure can sell if advertised to the right people.
Scents are so personal. I wore Elizabeth Arden Red Door for years so much so that people identified the scent with me and a boyfriend after our breakup suffered horribly when he found his mother wore that same scent. I loved it but suddenly it seemed young somehow unfitting.
My mom as if magically knowing returned from a trip with a Chanel fragrance. I now go between three from Chanel and while they haven’t had the effect of Red Door I do love them when I wear them for various events and situations.
As for couples so cute but so difficult to match.
I’m not a fan of defining scents as « masculine » or « feminine ». This is too predictable. The result is that most women wear similar floral/citrus scents and men wear musky scents. How boring if we all smell alike! I like unisex fragrances like those of Le Labo and Aesop.
Coordonner je ne sais pas mais il se trouve que le parfum de mon homme Avant-Garde de Lanvin est sur lui totalement irrésistible, il l’a choisi lui-même c’est un peu différent de ce qu’il choisit d’habitude. Et j’ai été surprise car il est exactement ce que j’ai envie de porter, moi !
