Trouver un sac qui soit assez gros pour porter toutes ses affaires… sans peser une tonne. Et si ça ajoute une touche de couleur à mes tenues, c’est encore mieux !

First of all, does it hold my iPad? After that, I have several bags that I switch among, depending on what else I need to transport. Always opt for the minimum! Otherwise you will schlep pounds and pounds (or worse, kilos and kilos) to no real end. My game-changer has been to put all the « essentials » (small pack of tissues, lipstick, vaseline, 2 pens, tiny notebook, sanitary pads–for daughter, not me–mini tape measure, fidelity cards) into a clear plastic zippered bag. I have seen these bag organizers for moving your stuff from one bag to another. However, my bags are of a very diverse size. So I can take my clear plastic pouch, plus my wallet and phone (and sometimes my iPad) and stick them in any bag I own, from big tote to tiny backpack. Plus, when I need to pay for something or to answer my phone, I no longer have to shuffle through a million things (that now are in the plastic pouch) to find them.

I’ve loved those Prada platform loafers for years- but the other day I was looking for espadrille wedges on sale and on the Castaner website I remembered that they make excellent winter shoes as well.
My cart is full of fur lined platforms and suede booties- but these Prada-Esque platform loafers are bae.
