Ah, le beachwear à la ville.
Personnellement, j’adore l’idée, mais parfois, j’ai l’impression que je porte un truc vaguement indécent. Bon, en ce moment, on voit des paniers tressés partout, alors est-ce que c’est le bon équilibre ? Mais les tenues de plage au quotidien ? Quand il fait aussi chaud et lourd, on a envie de porter le moins de tissu possible, mais est-ce que les tenues de plage, c’est franchir la limite ? Le maillot de bain porté en top, c’est aussi une tendance lourde. Et je comprends bien l’aspect pratique pendant les mois d’été. Et vous, le beachwear en prêt-à-porter, vous êtes pour ?

Off topic comment here but…
I have followed this blog via Feedly for years with no problems, but all of a sudden all the articles load in French instead of English. It’s driving me nuts! Does this site default to French for anyone else lately or is it just a problem with my browser?

En fait, non. Les tissus ne sont pas adaptés. En cas de grosses chaleurs, je préfère un joli top en coton ou en lin, avec un pantalon large, aussi en coton ou en lin. Ou bien une robe/jupe assez longue, qui fasse des courants d’air.

En Floride, tout (ou presque) est permis : beachwear + paillettes + escarpins + bijoux et maquillage : Miami !!!
Definitely not. I live inThessaloniki, northern Greece where temperatures and humidity levels are very high during the summer and I still don’t think it is appropriate to wear beachwear. Perhaps the woven tote is ok but the suimsuit worn as a top is a definite no no. There are beautiful clothes made of lightweight fabrics that can keep you cool and add points of style!
Dear Garance, since a couple of weeks there is something wrong with your blog on bloglovin! Even though I’m subscribed to the English version of the blog, it keeps showing the blog posts in French and I simply can’t read them! Please help! I’m having serious Garance deprivation!

Je ne pense pas qu’un maillot de bain, de par les matières utilisées, soit approprié à la ville. Il y a tant de tops, tuniques, chemises ou robes légères qui font bien mieux l’affaire. Quand au panier, pourquoi pas. Mais pour faire le marché.
