Incroyable, INCROYABLE!!! Mon livre Love Style Life est sorti il y a exactement un an, jour pour jour.
Alors :
1/ Le temps passe incroyablement vite.
2/ Ça a été un moment incroyable de ma vie.
3/ Le succès de mon livre, qui est aujourd’hui un Best Seller traduit en 14 langues, m’incroyabilise.
Maintenant, je vais m’envoyer une fleur ou deux, non juste une, mais considérable : je suis vraiment fière de ce livre et de son parcours. J’aime qu’il ait parcouru le monde, j’aime qu’il vous ait touchés à plein de niveaux différents. J’aime qu’il soit comme un compagnon pour certaines d’entre vous. J’aime que beaucoup d’entre vous le tiennent contre leur coeur quand elles s’approchent de moi,et voir mon livre marqué aux pages, comme un compagnon.
Et maintenant, une confidence. J’ai toujours rêvé que, quand je serai grande, je serai une espèce de guide. Je m’imaginais être psy, ou écrire des livres, partager les choses que j’avais apprises. Donner de la lumière, de l’amour, une perspective. Je savais qu’il fallait que je vive pour pouvoir le faire. Je ne me voyais pas comme un très jeune guide. Je voyais ça comme le privilège des années. Je ne sais pas d’où tout ça m’est venu.
Mais pour moi, Love Style Life, c’était un premier pas dans cette direction. Un peu inconscient certes, mais quand même. Alors qu’il ait trouvé sa place dans tant de vies me touche encore plus profondément. Un vrai rêve s’est réalisé, et j’ai hâte de le porter encore plus loin.
En attendant, merci pour votre incroyable confiance, et votre support. Merci de m’aider à réaliser mes rêves. J’espère qu’à ma façon, je vous aide un peu à réaliser les vôtres.

I just read your book two days ago! I enjoyed reading about your former relationships. It was very moving to learn that breaking up with your boyfriend as you were nearing 40 was the most courageous thing you’ve done in your life. For me finding the love of my life was the hardest/most courageous thing I’ve ever done. I’m amazed that I somehow found someone who surpassed all of my dreams and expectations. xoxo

Joyeux Anniversaire à votre ouvrage, Garance ! C’est un très bel écho à votre site, plein de vie, de générosité et de simplicité. Personnellement, sa lecture m’a fait rire, m’a émue et m’a fait réfléchir. Donc oui, vous êtes un guide et une amie pour nous, et vous pouvez être fière. Et personnellement, je suis ravie d’avoir mon exemplaire dédicacé ;)

I actually came across your book today. I saw it in a bookshop and I loved it so much I could not leave the shop without buying it. It’s beautiful, light and inspiring! Happy anniversary!
After all this time I finally ordered your book. I don’t know what kept me from doing so before other than possibly thinking G might find her way to Vancouver and then in person I would take it for her to sign (not that having a book autographed is my thing). It’s just that I’ve been following this blog for years, before the team began and then grew to where it is now. I think it is the only fair thing to do for long time followers – order the book. Happy Holidays to the whole team. Wishing all the best (as if it can get any better?) for 2017!
