Ahhhhh, l’été….squatter la plage et porter plein de bijoux colorés !
J’adore ce mélange de bracelets dépareillés et super pop. Et le top, c’est qu’ils résistent tous à l’eau de mer, au chlore et au soleil…
L’idee, c’est de de baigner avec.

I prefer to not have too many things against my skin in the hot, steamy weather. But since I am a costume jewelry fiend, I stick with large cocktail rings, dangly earrings, or a stack of mixed bangles. Maybe just the bracelets at the beach or pool. ;)

Je ne porte pas de bijoux à la plage par peur justement qu’ils ne s’abîment et aussi parce que je n’aime pas trop en mettre sauf celui en perle que m’a confectionné ma sœur qui résiste à tout et que je porte tout les jours!

Bon, moi je suis allergique à tous les métaux sauf l’or. Alors je vise très peu de choses… Et puis, avec le temps, je me suis rendu compte que j’aimais pas trop les bijoux, sauf les boucles d’oreilles. Et puis les montres, tu imagines en quoi… :)) J’aime me sentir légère en toute saison et je me trouve mieux quand je ne suis pas affublée de « décoration ». Donc, je te dirais que je ne suis pas la cliente rêvée pour le sujet, mais je dis, quand même, que bien que ce n’est pas mon truc, j’aime bien voir ça dans la rue quand c’est fin, des matière bien mixées et sans surcharge. Par contre, ce que me hérisse, c’est l’enchevêtrement de bijoux plus la montre, parfois deux… Ce truc qui prend la moitié de l’avant-bras, moche à voir, d’un effet à tourner de l’oeil, surtout quand c’est un peu passé, usé, décoloré… Mes sourcils frisent… :)))
Quelle belle photo colorée, ça fait du bien de voir des images estivales, enfin!
Je ne change pas vraiment mes bijoux l’été, car je porte des choses que je ne quitte pas, avec lesquelles je peux me baigner, donc de l’or ou du vermeil. Discret la plupart du temps, et pas trop de bling aux bras, car sur l’ordinateur, c’est horrible!

I’m at my place at the beach right now and when it’s hot and humid, I love my Pono clear colored resin chain link bracelets. They look like melted Popsicles! Also have a lot of aqua and coral beaded necklaces, big sea-themed (seahorses, coral branches) earring that are great with slicked back hair. Plus loads of cheap beach jewelry I bought in Mexico years ago. Anything that looks like sea glass is a gimme!
I choose the same kind of jewellery for summer days, the brighter the better! :) Every year when summer starts I buy myself several different bracelets which then I wear almost every day, they’re kind of a symbol of summer to me :)
Euh pas de bijoux pour moi au soleil, parce que bonjour les vilaines traces de bronzage!!! Par contre le soir pour sortir, je suis ultra pour!
Ah, I need a holiday by the beach too! I would wear nothing but my swimsuit, though, I’d be afraid of tan lines with such an arm candy :)

While I’m at the beach/pool I don’t like to wear anything to avoid weird tan lines in my wrists/neck… But later, big earrings and a big golden glass ring (murano) are my go to jewerly.

Super frais ! Oui ce genre de truc aussi… ou un ipanema pour le côté pratique du 10 en 1 (mais on ne peut pas se baigner avec !). Et puis j’avoue en avoir un peu marre (beaucoup trop vu). J’ai plein de bracelets africains aussi, plastifiés et colorés et un bracelet de coquillage fait par mon filleul. Je n’ai pas envie de dépenser une fortune pour ce genre de grigris qui ne dure qu’une saison.

J’adore les bracelets de la photo. Pour l’été, j’aime porter des bijoux en argent car ça ressort sur le bronzage et je trouve ça superbe!
Malheureusement Garance, les bracelets rose et turquoise tressés sont en soie d’Honorine Jewels, ils font partie de ma sélection! il faut les retirer à l’eau, mais on peut bien défaite deux noeuds avant de piquer une tête non? ;)

I love to wear jewelry, lot of it, but not on a hot day. Don’t get me wrong, I love how it looks but not how it feels. Swetty, hot and also leaving tan lines on my arms and neck. Maybe some day I’ll learn haha LOL. Till that day I’ll keep trying.

Such a great photo, it gave an idea! As I’m leaving for Greece in a couple of weeks I have #fashionbloggersmajorproblems when it comes to the outfit posts (I will mostly be in my swimwear all the time, the photos would be boring) and the clothes I would wear there. An arm party would be just the right choice to give a little twist to my look, maybe a sari/ loose shirt on top of the t-shirt? Anyways, thanks for the tip!

I’ve recently discovered copper as a great twist in jewellery design. The colour is beautiful, can be mixed and matched with many outfits, easily cleaned/polished if it starts to oxidize (which takes a while) and also, according to some African cultures, copper helps certain body functions through close contact with the skin!

I love this, but I’m as white as a sheet, and I don’t tan. I’m either super pale or red, no in-btween unfortunately. I don’t think it’d work well on fair skin (or red sunburnt skin!) P.S. I don’t wear any jewellery when I’m on holiday, I prefer an all-natural look when it’s hot. But if I’m somewhere not too hot I tend to go for very simple or one big jewellery item (usually big necklace or big earrings)
