I am starting to wonder: how can this happen so quickly? There normally is a (ridculously) huge timelag between the moment that the clothes are shown on the catwalk and the moment they hit the store. However, it seems that we can see the slebs (typically z-list celebrities) wearing clothes a few hours (if not minutes) after some show?
Does anyone else think some of those z-list slebs get paid to wear the clothes during Fashion Weeks? Given the amount of cover that the surroundings of the shows get, especially from bloggers, it would not really be surprising!

I have known Giambattista Valli and I worked together with him for 2 years, when he was working for Krizia in Milan from 1996 to 1999, at that time he was a very easygoing person, simple, relaxed, humble person … he has always been a big fan of Yves Saint Laurant, and this photo of the male dress, jacket and trousers, for a woman, it is the testimony of his love for the style of the first YSL…if you meet him, give my regards to him, I am sure he still remembers me!

Ah … mystery solved! When I first saw this ensemble on The Sartorialist, I wondered about the designer behind it. My initial guess was Akris, as it’s a personal favorite and their suits are always well-tailored. Now I know the label is actually Giambattista Valli. I still hope that Akris will get more attention in the States someday.

Tout simplement sublime!!!Je n’ai jamais aimé les costumes, depuis toujours je suis adepte du « déparayé », mais celui-ci peut me faire changer d’avis!Un costume, il faut qu’il soit bien coupé, et fait d’un beau tissu, sinon, ça fait vite l’uniforme, et parfois moins classe qu’une simple combine jean + veste. Celui-ci est PARFAIT!Garance, tu as l’oeil pour des choses simples et éternelles!
