Tiny’s Superfood Pancake
11 years ago by
Food presentation is everything. Will give it a try. Good healthy food, yes! No worries.

this is not unlike Korean style pancakes which are savory and the batter is mixed with all sorts of veggies or seafood (look for a puchingae or pah jun). there is also a special one, I love, made from ground mung bean (bindaeduk).
would be fun to see the team eat out and experiment with some different cuisines–especially since you are in NYC, a global food mecca! when I lived there, I had some of the best and most interesting eating experiences of my life :)
Looks delicious and healthy! This kind of mixed pancake is popular in Japanese and Korean cuisine as well :)

This looks so yummy and so easy to make! I think I know what I’m having for lunch tomorrow ;)
It looks delicious !
Such a healthy pancake (look at those ingredients!) but looks delish. Healthy can be delicious too I find :)
miam, merci !
Looks yummy ! But KALE !!!! Oh no nonono no more kale please????xxx
This kind of veggie pancake is really popular in Poland – traditionally made with potatoes (they’re super greasy but trust me with sour cream and caviar it is perfection), zucchini version is also something we all remember here from our childhood – in general, we just love to put any leftovers from the fridge into pancake batter. Oh and if your fridge is empty – just dip some black locust’s flowers or dandelion’s young flowers into pancake batter, they are sooo good !
Mmmmm… thank you, Garance!
Looks and sounds so delicious!!

Wow, sure it tastes good ;)

This looks like a delightful meal! There’s nothing better than eggs and greens, and I love that you asked for the recipe!
So funny.
Warm Regards,
Alexandra

I live near Tiny’s, go there all of the time for brunch, and ALWAYS ALWAYS have the superfood pancake. Had it last Sunday! When I saw the image of one of my favorite meals, I knew immediately. You must have been eating outside or near the window. I almost always end up in the back near the fireplace where I can hardly see my food!
This recipe look so delicious and healthy! I’m always on the lookout for new breakfast recipes so I will for sure try this one!

Amaziiiiiiiing, non ?
I have had like zero creativity with cooking lately – so I made this for supper last night! Complete with poached egg, but I didn’t have ginger. It was really really yummy and actually both my littles liked it too – which is like a miracle.
Miam miam ça donne vraiment envie tout ca.
Miam miam !! ça donne vraiment envie :)

I am going to make this for dinner tonight in a vegan pancake. I replaced vanilla in pancake batter with a kind of garlic puree that I buy ready made in a tube…vanilla just seemed wrong in this :) For veggies- watercress, spinach, squash, pumpkin seed, onion and broccoli all cut very fine. I think I will add chia seed too. YUM!
