Smells Like Spring
10 years ago by
Yummy! Can’t wait to try!
Greetings from Germany and please take a chance today:

I don’t really switch perfumes with the season. Perfumes depends on my mood, regardless what season they are for and what are left on my desk. My options are Burberry Brit, Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Classic, Bulgari Omnia and Jo Malone Amber and Lavender that I « borrowed » from some guy :))

I love carvan

I may not be very original, but when you realize that you found that one essence that is YOU, you can’t help but use only that one scent. So I wear Coco Mademoiselle year round, even on hot summer days, for which the perfume is a bit heavy.
And if I run out of it (which happens every six months) and don’t have time to pop into the store and get a new one I use the simple scent of vanilla from the body shop.
Hi Alex,
Carven’s perfumes smell delicious….and yes, as soon as the season go by, I use different perfumes (as well as Marc Jacobs’ Apple splash).
By the way, thee bottle is so beautiful.
Xoxo
Na.
I change my perfume with my mood, not with the season and I am not able to stick to one, I change all the time. For now I switch between Serge Lutens Encens et Lavande, Frederic Malle Musc Ravageur oil or Lipstick Rose.
Not with the seasons but with my mood!

I’ve got a lot of bottels with different smell. For the moment I smell tangerine. Yeasterday it was tempeltree.
I love perfume, at the 1982 I had about 49 different bottles. Nowadays I’m just 8 bottels short on moods….;-D
Yes!
Scarlett by Cacharel on summer, Hypnotic poison by Dior on winter, Miss Dior blooming bouquet for the spring… Mmmh I have to find one for the fall! ;)

I only wear the one perfume (when I remember or can be bothered to do so), and that’s Prada Infusion D’Iris. This perfume sounds like it is right up my alley! Although I don’t think I’d be able to find it here…

I find that I stick with the scents I like, no matter what the season or time it is. My favorites are the Dark Vanilla Solid Perfume from Mommy Patch (a Filipino organic brand), Santa Maria Novella Freesia, Bvlgari Petits et Mamans and Lanvin Eclat de Arpege. Although, I also like the limited edition and seasonal scents that come from Bath and Body Works especially during fall, where they come up with cinnamon inspired scents. They just smell delicious. :)
Yes, with the seasons and my moods too. I love Carven Le Parfum, an effervescent delight, so feminine! I have a few of the most divine scents… one for my elegant refined moments (ha!), one for romance, another that inspires my playful creative nature… I think it was Coco Chanel who said « A woman should wear perfume wherever she wants to be kissed, » I agree and sometimes I wear one scent on my pulse points or spritz the air and walk into the scent and just a touch of another in a more secret location to be discovered ;)
Looks beautiful, can’t wait to try it out! I am terrible at changing perfumes and then totally indecisive when it comes to selecting a new one.

My grandma always wore Ma Griffe, which I never really thought much about until someone recently pointed out to me that it was made by Carven. I love the reinvention of this iconic brand. And this bottle is absolutely beautiful.
I have a main perfume, Allure de Chanel, but then I wear the odd perfumes seasonally, such as in SS I love to wear Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria Mandarine-Basilic, and in Winter I wear Mandragore d’Annick Goutal.
