What is your morning beauty routine?

I start every morning with my 5-minute gratitude journal, and it makes a world of difference for my mood and the energy I bring into that day. Frankly, this might be the most important part of my beauty routine.

Mornings are super simple – I cleanse and sunscreen. I was gifted It Confidence in a Cleanser and am now completely devoted. I use Supergoop Play Everyday SPF 50 for sunscreen, I used to be terrible about this but now I don’t miss a day. If I’m doing makeup, I’ll add a drop of Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Sunshine Drops to my sunscreen + Glossier Boy Brow, Glossier Haloscope, and the same L’Oreal drugstore eyeliner I’ve used since I was 12.

What products do you keep on you throughout the day?

I realize this is completely cliche, but I think the only beauty product I keep on me throughout the day is Caudalie Beauty Elixir, especially in the summer or when traveling. In the summer I have travel sized sunscreens I throw in my bag. Oh, and a big bottle of water (when I remember).

What is your evening beauty routine?

I’ve dealt with acne and breakouts my whole life, so I’ve tried everything when it comes to skincare. What I’ve learned is that a simple routine works best for me. I cleanse, then I use a prescription topical retinoid, Tretinoin, and then moisturize with Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. If I’m feeling luxurious (and dry) I’ll end with Everyday Oil. If I have a breakout, I’ll also use Starface hydro-stars, the cutest spot-treatments!

I also recently became obsessed with haircare and taking care of my curls for the first time. I switched to an all-natural, no parabens, silicons, sulfates, or alcohol routine called The Curly Girl Method. So after my shower with hair still wet, I’ll run a light cream (currently using Garnier Curl Nourish Butter Cream) and a Cantu Natural Gel through my hair, and then plop (look it up, it works!) with a microfiber towel or t-shirt. Also – you heard it here first – I’ve been using a miracle treatment from Ceremonia that’s launching in October, truly a game-changer for overall hair wellness and natural products that fit my new regime.
