Nan. Pas encore. Jamais ?
C’est ce que je ressens quand j’entends parler de « saison du bikini ».
Il y a tellement de choses à faire avant, comme se forger des abdos parfaits, bronzer, reprendre l’habitude de se raser les jambes…
(Fréquence de rasage actuelle : zéro.)
L’hiver a duré tellement longtemps, je ne pensais pas que ça finirait un jour, et maintenant, voilà que l’été est là.
Donc je me fais violence pour me raser, bronzer et faire au moins cinq abdos par jour. Ah oui, et trouver un nouveau maillot.
Sauf qu’il n’y a rien, – mais alors vraiment nada – qui me plaise. (Je suis un peu difficile puisque j’ai grandi à Sydney et que j’ai – en gros – vécu en maillot de bain.)
Mais ça, c’était avant Whard WIllis. La réponse à tous mes fantasmes bikiniesques. Un design simple mais subtil pour des maillots élégants (sans prise de tête). Le top du top, c’est que tous les maillots sont réversibles, donc en gros on en a deux pour le prix d’un ! Idéal pour un week-end à la plage, non ? Voilà mon préféré…
Et vous, la perspective d’un nouveau maillot, ça vous fait stresser ou est-ce que vous venez de trouver le modèle de vos rêves ?

For years I thought I should go the string bikini route—less material=less squeezing, right? Really, really not true, at least not for me. Finally, this year, I ordered hipster bottoms and a French bikini top in bright turquoise from J. Crew and everything fits and I feel amazing. Lesson, as always: you do you.

I confess that I too detest sporting a swimsuit and am secretly hoping for it to be fashionable (and feasible) to wear a tracksuit into the water. Until then, it’s a one piece with as much coverage as possible to hide the jiggly bits. This Ward Whillas is a beauty though…I’ll wear it my next life when I am fit and firm…

I just bought a nearly identical model- black retro bra and mini bottoms in H&M. Both for 10 euros. Enough for those 14 days, that I will be wearing them …..
Ah this is lovely but I can’t wear a matched set size wise–I’m a 34C on top and while I wear dresses no problem e.g. 1 size always fits me top and bottom for a piece of cltohing, for my bikini top I always need a medium and for my bikini bottom always an XS. I get so disappointed when a suit I love is sold as a set and not in separate pieces–they would get more customers if they sold top and bottom separately!
