Ces vestes et manteaux oversize portés avec des pantalons larges et des sneakers, c’est presque mon quotidien, sauf que Michael Kors renouvelle le genre avec ses associations de couleurs qui donnent de nouvelles pistes à explorer.

I adore Tomboy fashion too! I literally have been revisiting my copy of Lizzie Garrett Mettler’s book nightly! I know we all have different aspects to our personal style, but I too crush HARD on the modern tomboy aesthetic! Cannot get enough!
I really love these looks! So simple but sophisticated anyway. The other day I stumbled upon a leather jacket by Michael Kors and fell in love with it head over feet. And these looks are definitely inspiring! love the simplicity!

Dressing like a tomboy exudes such an effortless cool. I especially love the oversized coats, especially since they are so practical for layering up in winter too!

Slacks are awesome, so are bright white sneakers (no matter which season). I’m totally oogling the shirt in the third look – I like the way it’s styled, pretty sure I couldn’t pull it off (I’m convinced on top I need to wear something a bit more fitted or at least tucked in when wearing slacks). Colour palette is super lovely!
I’m feeling very Spring inspired instead of pre-Fallish here :)
I am a big Michael Kors fan and that collection is so nice. Great inspo.

Totally agree with you! In fact I thought it was J.Crew before I read the caption. Nothing worse than J.Crew at Michael Kors prices.
J’aime beaucoup le manteau rouge, la nuance est très lumineuse. En fait j’aime bien toute la silhouette !!!
Le problème de ce genre looks c’est que quand on a des seins et des fesses, ça fait plus secrétaire salace que tomboy… Alors j’aime, mais je boycotte!

Yes! I remember stealing from my dad’s closet, my husband’s and now my sons — a shirt here, a sweater there, Levi’s, Chucks, a blet, a hat. Long live the tomboy!!!!
Love it! OK I just bought an Italian light grey cashmere coat at the Goodwill for 10.00, but it’s like 2 sizes too small, fine if I don’t button it. Hoping I’ll lose weight this year, I’m keeping it, in a mothball ridden plastic clothes bag. lol. I just love the color, I can wear it now unbuttoned. It’s like the price of 2 Starbucks coffees otherwise. Love the Goodwill! You an find simply amazing finds on occasion, for those of us who don’t have endless money, it’s fun to shop, and look, and you never know what may pop up.

Have you seen the book ‘Tomboy Style’ by Lizzie Garrett. Just gorgeous. My long time icons are Patti Smith and Jane Birkin … more so the way they dress today. They are a little closer to my demographic too. My daugter says I am too old for boyfriend jeans and high tops. Is this true When do you get too old?
