Je l’ai trouvée ! La paire de sneakers New Balance parfaite.
A la fois habillée (pour des sneakers, j’entends) et sport (je ne résiste jamais à ces semelles ultra-souples), avec le mélange parfait de cuir, caoutchouc et daim…
En plus, j’adore les couleurs. J’essaie de prendre mes distances avec ma garde-robe de new-yorkaise noir corbeau pour aller vers des teintes sobres comme le bleu marine, le gris et le camel… pile comme ces sneakers, l’équilibre parfait.
Je les porte avec un jean ou une robe plus structurée, elles font un peu plus sophistiquées que des sneakers de base MAIS je peux aussi prendre la fuite avec si besoin (ou juste courir pour attraper le métro). Si vous n’en avez jamais porté, sachez que c’est vrai : les New Balance sont ultra-confortables. Avec Brie, on est d’accord pour dire que ça revient à marcher sur un nuage.
Cela étant, je garderai toujours mes Nike chéries pour une option plus sportive ou mes Adidas pour des sneakers blanches (qui vont avec tout). Et vos sneakers idéales à vous ? Vous avez trouvé la paire parfaite ?

Reebok Skyscapes are the most comfy sneaker I’ve ever experienced! I can wear them walking around all day (I have walked 11 miles in a day in these) and I also love that they are so simple with almost no design or logo so they go with everything – I have a pair in grey and navy blue. Did I mention they’re made of soft delightful neoprene so they pop right in the wash? I’m sounding like a commercial here but I sing their praises every time someone compliments them – which is often!

Yes – these are the perfect sneaker for a refined casual smart option. Which model are they? I love New Balance — I have loved them since I was a kid and my father was a marathoner who swore they were the best shoes for long distance runners.
I’ve only recently started wearing sneakers with non-workout clothing. They are the only thing I can comfortably walk in for miles without tiring out my legs. Even really good walking shoes don’t seem to do the trick anymore. Boo-hoo!
I`ve just bought these (or very similar) in grey and a pair of Stan Smiths for plain white sneakers. For running, if you`re neutral-footed like me, I reckon Brooks has the only decent range for women. Don`t do real sport in Nike!
I have been running for the last 8 years in various models of Nike Free shoes, ran 5 marathons with them and even the Paris Ecotrail 80 km race ! (which is not really on technical ground, just forest trails)
You CAN definitely do « real » sport in Nike shoes !
(of course, for rocky, more technical mountain trails, other brands, including Brooks but not only, are better).

I have been eyeing the Colehaan ZeroGrand perforated oxford in Grey for a very long time. On sale right now! I think they will look great with some dresses and skinnies :)

I prefer sneakers of skater-type, but if you want to walk around a lot, a model with better arch support is more appropriate. After walking 20km each day for a few days on a trip, I bought a pair of Adidas zx flux shoes. They are comfortable for walking and have a nice print, but I’d prefer if they were made of another material.
Perfect choice!
I like ‘nike Air’ for their comfort even they are not as cool as others.
Those New Balance are super cool. Love how they have a vintage feel. I’ve been wearing my Adidas all summer and I love them.

I just picked up a pair of grey and rose gold New Balances to add to my Nike and Saucony collection and I’m in love. It’s almost to the point where I always grab a pair of sneakers over heels to wear out now at night. I’d just rather be comfortable, with the added advantage of looking chic with stylish kicks! I’m going to ride this sneaker trend for as long as sartorially possible.
