Three Looks with Anna Jewsbury

Taking a little « trip » over the pond with this Three Looks from Anna Jewsbury and her jewelry and homeware line, Completedworks. Enjoy!
How would you describe your style in three words?
Repetitive, unexpected, relaxed
Who do you look to for style inspiration and why?
Interesting women from different disciplines with their own point of view. My mother passed on her love of dressing to me. She always dressed exactly how she wanted to. She could never be dictated to.
Can you tell us a bit about Completedworks and your love of jewelry?
Completedworks is a London based label practicing in jewelry and ceramic. We work with recycled metal and build collections around different themes that interest us, taking inspiration from everything from the everyday, from history, from the language of art. I studied maths and philosophy at university but have always been obsessed with beautiful objects since childhood and, in starting Completedworks, felt driven by a desire to create something completely new. There’s something special about jewelry as a medium. You are working on a really small and intimate scale. Working in precious metals, there is also that wonderful element of longevity too.
What advice would you give women who want to incorporate more jewelry into their everyday repertoire?
I think jewelry can be a really effective way of adding an interesting element to more simple, pared back outfits. Wear what you feel comfortable in but don’t be afraid to layer pieces together, even if they mismatch.
That red outfit is amazing and looks very Issey Miyake. I had a black shirt very similar texture from the 90s.
Love this looks!
