I was in the middle of working on a project for university about colour schemes when this popped up on my timeline. I love the green door on that white wall! Thanks for inspiring me today! :)
This shot really captures some aspects of a gorgeous summer getaway, such as that stunning cloudless sky, an exotic palm-tree peeking at the top and a clean and inviting villa :) <3.
I just want to say that I am so enjoying this blog these past few weeks. Feeling some kind of sisterhood with Garance since I got a pixie last week, and since I am an American married to a Frenchman and we are very much a franco-american mix, and also because I’m just a couple of years younger. (By the way I got my cut at 22 rue Verneuil in Paris while on vacation, I thought Pauline was very good.) The fashion perspective found here just suits me better than what I find on elle.fr, which seems to be for the younger set. I love the carefree style, but please keep it from being too young, this blog is a perfect bridge between youth and maturity, I think, if you don’t mind my saying so. I do wonder about the intense interest in beauty brands like Tata Harper and Aesop which seem to me far too pricey and with « natural » ingredients and fragrance that would irritate my sensitive skin. And, last comment, I love the pinterest outfit ideas. Oh, one more important comment, more on perfume please! Perfume should be a major part of style and self-expression and there is such beauty out there to be discovered through your nose. (I want my perfumes to be fragranced, not my facial products, by the way.) There are so many good perfume bloggers: Victoria Frolova, Denyse Beaulieu, Robin Krug…maybe you can feature one or maybe one of the many interesting perfume shops in Paris or NY, like Liquides in Paris. Thank you for this blog!
