La tendance : La jupe midi.
Comment la porter : J’adore l’idée d’une jupe qui arrive sous le genou. J’aime bien les versions cuir et daim pour leurtouche de modernité, surtout portées avec un top structuré ou un gros pull.
Looks préférés : De gauche à droite, Suno, Derek Lam, Jason Wu, Yigal Azrouël et 3.1 Phillip Lim.

I’m so happy that the midi skirt trend is still going strong. It has so much sensuality to it. It shows off just the right amount of skin and is nice and flirty. I find it to be much sexier than a mini skirt sometimes.

I love the concept of the midi skirt, just wish they carried more in petite sizes. Since I’m 5’1, I always have to get the skirts professionally hemmed or else they’re just skirts that hit my ankles. But regardless, I agree that the skirts are so chic and sophisticated, yet modern as well. xo

J’aime beaucoup les jupes midi, je trouve que c’est très chic mais on peut la porter également de manière assez décontracté avec perfecto en cuir. J’aime beaucoup

J’aime beaucoup cette longueur, c’est très chic, pour cacher aussi ce qui doit être ……., on peut la porter de différentes manières, ce qui casse l’effet « madame ».

Well, I remember when the Midi was previously in style, I was much younger, thinner and could wear different variations of the skirt. I’m pleased that as an older woman whose figure has become more curvaceous, the Midi will still be a perfect choice for me. The Phillip Lim example would be appropriate and fun for me!
I’ve always loved, sewn and worn this evergreen, modest and – above all – comfortable length.
Modest and flattering everyone, no matter your age, top or choice of footwear, it’s just right with a fitted top or singlet with it (it’s presently summer here in Oz) and it’s girlish or sophisticated at night with a pair of heels. Wear it with a heavy, asymmetrical knit and you have the above looks. Top it with T-shirts and flats or ankle boots or Converse and you have a comfortable, feminine day outfit. Wear shirts with it and there’s your work outfit.
In a print fabric or embroidered, it is luscious or hippy (love that!). In suede it’s got a seventies vibe, and in leather it’s sharp… but my favourites to wear for their versatility with everything in my wardrobe are in five colure and textures – a light tan leather, a black leather and a deep caramel suede, an ivory lace and a black lace one.
Beyond perfection, absolutely comfortable – that’s the Midi-skirt to me.
And one other important thing I forgot to include previously – my Midi-skirts are always A-line for easy walking and sitting on the floor cross-legged :-)
Elle allonge la silhouette et met les jambes en valeur. C’est la longueur idéale pour les bottes. C’est une longueur éternelle.
Elle apporte un brin de dignité à toutes les audaces. C’est pour ça qu’elle va avec tout depuis la nuit des temps. Même les hommes la portent dans certaines ethnies.
I really like this trend, it seems to give a more elongated silhouette too. Good for me at 5’4 ;)

I have been wearing midis for almost all of my adult life because I so prefer this length to any other. With proportionate footwear and tops they look so elegant, they’re easy to sit in, they can be worn with bare legs or tights, and they’re more accommodating of small weight fluctuations than shorter skirts or pants. I’m thrilled to see so many great options available in the recent years with more coming up. This trend has been building slowly, I thought it would peak a few years ago but it seems to be peaking this year.
These skirts are Super Cute ! I’m wearing more midi’s. Very feminine and they help me to feel like the girly girl that I am !
