Ramdane & Victoire’s Apartment

La dernière fois que j’étais à Paris, je suis allée voir mes amis Ramdane et Victoire dans leur trop bel appart du 7ème arrondissement (bon, j’y étais déjà allée pour l’anniversaire de Ramdane – une super soirée !-, mais c’est un lieu tellement magique qu’il fallait que je revienne en journée pour vous rapporter quelques photos !!). Ramdane bosse sur plein de projets super cools et intéressants à Paris (vous vous souvenez de Buly ??), et bien sûr, son sens du style se reflète dans son appartement.
Il y a des petits détails fascinants un peu partout, que ce soit le papier peint coloré de la salle à manger (qui fait aussi office de bureau) ou la collection de sièges et sofas du salon… la salle de bain à la française est adorable… et remplie de produits Buly, bien sûr ! Je ne vous parle même pas de la terrasse ! Victoire, la femme de Ramdane, nous a préparé un thé et des cookies qu’on a savourés avec vue sur la Tour Eiffel…
Un appartement foisonnant, authentiquement parisien…
C’est CANOOON! Trop belle déco, et trop belle vue!! Le kiffe!! ;-)

I just love it, especially all the modern seating and the color of the walls in the living area. Modern can be warm and cozy! We purchased a barcelona chair imitation from Rove concepts, and I like it so much. I was afraid to mix modern pieces in with my more classic stuff at first, but even just one modern piece really…well…modernized a room. My West Elm martini tables and barcelona chair turned the chic level way up in my living room. I would love to live in this apartment!

Every time I see photos like these they serve as a reminder of how rubbish I am at decorating my own apartment! My idea of decorating was to leave a painting leaning on the wall instead of hanging it up :) I love the 7th in Paris- I’ve rented a flat there this summer and your photos bring beautiful memories :)

C’est pas pour faire mon aigrie mais les apparts typiquement parisiens, dans la vraie vie de plein de gens, ça fait 40m2 et c’est une coloc de 4 personnes ou plus, dont une qui vit dans le salon.
Mais sinon c’est quand même sublime, c’est beau des gens avec autant de goût!
I agree with this comment… The flat is great, well-located and very nicely decorated, with a great view on Paris, but most of us Parisians live in smaller flats, in not-so-nice neighborhoods. And as Paris has now become a concept, it feels like we need to remind these basic facts every now and then.
Quel goût ! J’aime le côté déco maîtrisée mais avec un esprit bordel organisé. Il y a tellement de déco d’appart millimétrées maintenant, cet appartement-là qui semble regorger de petites trouvailles éclectiques dans tous les coins est tellement plus chaleureux et vivant. Beautiful and eclectic place and amazing view but definitely NOT a truly parisian apartment : too big, too much huge windows, too big rooms. But it makes it perfect anyway :) beacuse small apartments are the problem in Paris :)
