I started asking for business class travel when I started traveling so much that the way I would fly would determine my presence on the job. It was an important transition for me, because, you know, I didn’t feel legit ?. But I did it. . I rarely got any push back. . When @airfrance asked me to be an ambassador on this program set to talk about women traveling business, the first thing the team told me is that business class is viewed as often filled with men (true) – and the reason is not because there is less professional women – it’s because women don’t ask for it ??? which doesn’t surprise me – and we need to change this! . So, YES I said, hell yes. . Never hesitate to ask for what you want. Know your worth. Be serious about your well being on a job. It’s not being a princess, it’s being a pro. Happy Tuesday! .
