We asked Jules Miller, the CEO and founder of The Nue Co to tell us a bit more about the formulation behind their new serum, THE PILL…

THE PILL is The Nue Co’s first foray into skincare. What was the impetus for launching into skincare products?

In launching THE PILL, we wanted to be able to create a topical supplement that delivered both instant and long term benefits to your skin. For us, a supplement can take the form of a topical, an ingestible or a sensory product. It’s just about finding the most effective way to deliver that particular ingredient, vitamin or benefit.

Why was it important to you for THE PILL to be so multifaceted, i.e. accomplish so much in one serum?

There are so many issues that we look to target through different products when it comes to skin. We wanted to create a skin care product that both streamlined your daily routine and delivered noticeable results. We’ve combined multiple actives including AHAs, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C and CBD to tighten, hydrate and brighten the skin.

Can you talk a bit about what results you will see when using THE PILL? Are there both instant and long term results?

THE PILL will change the appearance of your skin in three minutes and the health of your skin in six weeks. Immediately after using THE PILL you will see an instantly de-puffing effect on the skin – it will appear smoother and tighter. This is the combination of anti-inflammatory extracts, caffeine and a plant ingredient called Isoamyl Laurate which creates a “second skin” texture. 89% of consumer testers reported instantly tighter, less puffy skin within three minutes of using THE PILL and 95% reported instantly smoother and brighter skin within the same time frame.

With continual use, THE PILL will help hydrate and brighten skin, improve skin’s elasticity and reduce fine lines and pigmentation caused by sun exposure. Within six weeks, 87% of consumer testers reported more hydrated skin and 94% reported more radiant skin.

What is the recommended usage for THE PILL? Is it a stand alone product or can it be layered with others?

I like to use it in the morning, applying two pumps to the skin after cleansing and before moisturizing. We believe that the best skincare regime combines targeted ingestible and topical products, so we’d recommend using THE PILL alongside our ingestible skin products like Skin Filter and Skin Hydrator.

What type of skin is THE PILL best for? Or can it be used by all?

It can be used for all types of skin! THE PILL is for anyone looking for a one-step solution to dull, dry or prematurely aging skin. It is suitable for all skin types, ages, genders and ethnicities. It contains a number of active ingredients alongside skin soothing extracts, which minimizes irritation to the skin so it is also suitable for sensitive skin types also.
