From the Archives: The Drama of Jewelry
3 years ago by
Most of the time I think a chunky gold necklace is more dramatic than a full ballgown. Why? Because you only wear a ball gown to a dramatic event. It is assumed one is going to be a bit dramatic when the dress code calls for a ballgown. But a chunky gold necklace to the market on a Sunday? Or a second date on a Thursday? That’s some fun, unexpected drama. I’ve noticed my wardrobe has streamlined as I’ve gotten older, but my jewelry box has EXPLODED as I gravitate more and more to the unexpected…

Dramatic necklaces and earrings are two things I have been wanting to get into but always feel like I am over doing it. Especially cause my wardrobe is usually very simple. Comfort is where it’s at. Rings on the other hand, I stack and have too many at a time but don’t feel awkward about it.
Amazing photos
You have me convinced!
The styling!
As a huge fan of gold and rose gold, I really like this selection, especially the rings and earrings.
