Family can be so many different things, take so many different shapes. . Anne has been my friend since we met when we were 14. We lived so many things together and still do – but most of all when we are together we spend our life laughing. If you’ve ever liked my tendency to self-deprecation… I learned it from her. . She’s now also my sister Laetitia’s best friend and is absolutely a part of our family as we are a part of hers. . I was thinking about this because lately with mother’s day and father’s day I couldn’t help but feeling for all of us who don’t have typical families (that’s a lot of people!!!). . Family is what you chose for it to be. It’s about loving others and accepting them for who they are and where they are in their life. Making the effort and the planning that it takes to get together as we did last weekend. Creating moments and memories takes just a tiny bit of effort – as lazy me has learned. . I got so much love and so much peace, away from the hustle and bustle this weekend from just being with my sisters and Anne, my fourth sister, that I thought it would be good to share. . Oh and okay, the fact that we were in paradise was not too bad either. Thank you Frederic @bastideofficial for providing us with the perfect backdrop (and the perfect doggy) for this family reunion!
