No Abs Required

I ADORE this collection. Definitely my favorite of Milan Fashion Week thus far. All the colors and the artsy portraits were amazing.

I don’t! But thanks for posting. If only we could look so great wearing an actual ‘crop’ top.
I do need time to get used to the bra-on-top-of shirt-thing. Really don’t know if I would wear it, but the no-abs-required-thing is genius indeed!
And as an illustrator I loved the prints of the show :)

I fell in love with that collection! The pop art elements mixed with that Frida Kahlo feeling and sporty elements! Genius! xxx
Sorry, I didn’t like it!
Especially the ones how came over a coat, no way….
And it’s not like I don’t like to experiment!

I agree. I couldn’t show the midriff section either. I love the idea of sexy bra tops too!

Loved it!

Super sympa !
xx.
I can’t do crop tops, not because I don’t have abs, but because I don’t like the look of it. I’d rather not look like a teenager from the 90s when I’m actually in my late twenties…

this is spring/summer….i don’t know if it was for marketing purposes…fur coat in the show????? I have to edit this show in my head….first sight it wasn’t a A++
What I really appreciate about Prada’s collections is that there’s always a research of materials and cut. There’s always something edgy in her clothes, but what I don’t appreciate is the use of fur and that some pieces are really not feminine (i would say man repeller).
Talking about abs I’m one of those who can afford crop tops. But, Alex, it’s not difficult to get a toned tummy, you have to work out for 15 minutes a day.
Ummmm, no. Ugly!!!
About abs/crop tops. The good thing about abs showing in the upcoming season that is different from the past ab trends is this: In the past the looks have been low slung pants that expose the lower portion of the belly. We tend to store way more fat there not to mention the muffin top area that also was on display. This new trend is showing just a slit of skin more at the top of the waist or under the bra line. We all tend to be slimmer there so it is a much easier trend to pull off!
the genius of Mrs. Prada is that she does something extreme & everyone says yuk, but six months later it has become weirdly desirable & surprisingly wearable……
My friends always tell me that I should rock the crop top, only because they can’t. It’s not an insecurity issue, but I just need better reasons to expose my midriff.
Your Friend, Jess
Oh oui!
Huge Prada Fan, but not this time: just three tricks: Faces, stockings, bras. Even a genius brand can have a weak show, it must be allowed to say it out loud!

Finalement!
OK, maybe I will never wear a top like this (I have big b…!!!) but I loved the collection. LOVED: Miuccia is always always innovative, new, never repetitive. Her collections are to me always a surprise. P.S. I also loved the Dolce e Gabbana collection – it stresses the brand identity (au contraire) and this is their strenght.
